Magazine. It has also been featured on several Minnesota news
broadcasts.
Community Involvement
The Dragonfly Project’s founder, Anne
Brooker has been a guest speaker at numerous organizations and events,
including:

Rotary Clubs;

Grief support groups;

Retreats;
-
Church Groups.
The Dragonfly Project is also a supporter
of Spare Key
Foundation, an organization that provides assistance to families
impacted by the ongoing crisis and heartache of caring for a seriously
ill child.

The
February 2006 issue of Seventeen Magazine highlights Anne Brooker as
one of five "All Stars" who serve as role models for their

"Power of It" Award
On November 10, 2005, Anne Brooker
received the "Power of It" Award from Janae Bower on behalf of the
girls and women who volunteer for The Dragonfly Project. Ms. Bower is
the author of the award-winning book
The Little Girl Who Found IT: A Story of Heart and Hope.

Eleven Who
Care Award
On
September 7, 2005, Anne Brooker was one of the eleven recipients of
the
2005 Eleven Who Care Award, which recognizes the contributions of
volunteers in our communities.



Madeline Paguyo Award
On June 9, 2005, Anne Brooker received
the Madeline Paguyo Award. The award is in memory of
Maddie
Paguyo, who exemplified courage, perseverance, love and kindness
during her life.

Humanitarian Award
On February 19, 2005, Anne Brooker
received the Humanitarian Award from the
Minnesota
Oncology Hematology Foundation, a nonprofit charitable
organization dedicated to its mission to improve the quality of life
for cancer patients and their families.
